Marbella East offers great beaches. Every couple of hundred meters one can find a nice beach restaurant (chiringuito), pleasantly crowded outside the season and full in high season.

Most areas in Marbella east are covered by pine trees and cork oaks. Especially the areas Cabopino and Hacienda Las Chapas offer loads of pine trees, while Elviria and Los Monteros are covered with cork oaks. the natural reserve of la Mairena is seen as part of Elviria by some while it actually is located in an other municipality it is closer to Elviria, only 5 km up the mountain.

Elviria offers the biggest shopping centre for Marbella East. Here one finds four supermarkets, grocery shops, hairdressers, bars and restaurants. The area is pleasantly busy whole year round and offers good parking facilities. Other areas offer their own grocery shopping possibilities but not as extended as in Elviria.

Hotels in Marbella East

Marbella East homes 4 famous 5 star hotels. The Don Carlos hotel with its Nikki beach club and the hotel Los Monteros with beach club La Cabane are the most famous ones. Don Carlos has around 250 rooms and offers a beautiful garden sloping down towards the beach. The Don Carlos hotel has three restaurants and is located in Elviria.

Four 18 holes golf courses and three 9 holes golf courses on a stretch of ten kilometres, what golfing possibilities would one want more? The Rio Real, Santa Clara, Santa Maria and Cabopino golf courses are full 18 holes courses. Then the Greenlife golf, Marbella golf and Artola golf are 9 holes courses.
